Open to audiences and performers of all ages. Musicians, poets, comedians and performers of all types are invited to share their talents. Then local playwright Brenda Fager will take the stage. She will share two of her short plays with the help of her friends from the Writers Group at the Dietrich Theater. Brenda has spent over 35 years in the theater world as a playwright, teacher, actor, stage manager, and director—including 17 years with Houston’s A.D. Players. From classic roles like Ouiser in Steel Magnolias to her original work The Russell Park Experience, Brenda brings passion and versatility to every stage, and she’s thrilled to join the Dietrich Theater’s Open Mic experience.
