From Kennedy Park to Main Street, we have so many fun activities planned for our community members & visitors to enjoy from Friday, August 1st – Sunday, August 3rd.

August 1st:

Lions Club Golf Tournament

Kennedy Park:
Hitchin’Cricket from 6-9 pm
Fireworks at 9:15 pm (BYO Blankets & Snacks!)
Dabs Ice Cream Truck

August 2nd:

Forest City Historical Society:
Opens at 11 am
Distinguished Citizen at 3 pm
Food available through the Light Parade

Downtown Forest City:
Food Vendors, DJ, Children’s Activities from 5-9 pm
Light Parade 9 pm

Youth Fishing Derby – 8:30 am Registration, 9am – 11am Fishing
Chicken BBQ – Preorders ONLY through FC Parks & Rec – fcparksrec@gmail.com. Pick-up ONLY 12pm – 2pm
